St. Charles Borromeo Parish

Today, even the father and mother of Jesus were amazed at the words of Simeon about their child as he was presented at the temple. How amazed are we that the Lord is ever present and ever loving? We approach the Lord today with an enlightened heart. As we bless candles that will be used in our homes this year, we are reminded of the "light of the world" who is present to us and loving us constantly as a beacon of salvation. May we refect that light out to our sisters and brothers to brighten their day and their lives.
